I had to install a new endpin jack on the very early Hollenbeck guitar. I thought the forum might appreciate a nice blond looking quite magnificant at 33 years old. This is one of the first I believe around the 8th guitar Bill made. The label is 1991. It was before he actually had model names and only designated them by the size of the body. This is 17 inch guitar and is sounds completely wonderful. The person who owns this says this is is favorite guitar to play. He happens to own an 18 inch HOllenbeck and a beautiful Gibson Citation but this one takes the honors.

    1. Note the violin style F holes cut with the straight edge and 3 layers of binding on them
    2. Handmade Tailpiece completely done by Bill
    3. Tiger stripped rims to match the back and the neck too.
    4. Bill always had a Fleur de ley somewhere on his guitars.
    5. He did all his own pearl work.
    6. Braced with a single traverse brace with an offshoot brace that runs up in a direction toward treble rim

That’s beautiful! Thanks for showing it to us. What’s the little black amplifier next to the RE cab?

I know a lot of drummers that could use a tuner, or at least could learn how to tune them--too many just set them up and play.
Now if you had said "like a drummer needs an amp....."

Nah - with all the available mic sets and amplifiers for drums, too many are already amplified

You're sure right about tuning, but I have to assume that more drummers would tune their kits if they could hear the difference. There are even electronic drum tuners now. I miss you, Joe Morello!

That little Polytone is cool, though. If I were 20 years younger and still had a house, I'd have already sent payment for it just to find out what all the hype is about. I never owned one.
