I know that LaBella makes Benedetto’s branded strings, and Seymour Duncan makes/winds their pickups. Any idea who manufactures their straps?
Thanks in advance for the info.

My first guess would be Levy's.

I've used Levy's all leather straps since, well forever.

Do the Levy’s all leather straps have a layer of padding?
The Benedetto straps are very soft, with a thin layer padding between the leather front and back. Very flexible, soft and padeed. Sounds like the Levy straps might be similar (or the same)?

Levy's make and market almost 50 different styles of leather straps and over 100 different styles of straps in all (and that doesn't include any of their OEM straps made for other companies) . Here's a page of just their leather styles.

Franklin also has a line of leather straps, with padding. I have one that I use fairly often. The Franklin straps are evidently not what Benedetto uses, because the shape is different. I do like the Benedetto style straps, but they seem to be out of stock most of the time, and I don't require the Benedetto name to be prominent on my strap. I also have an Italia strap, which is high quality leather, but without the taper toward the end, so slightly less guitar friendly. Not a deal-breaker, though.

Levy's I have bought run the gamut from butter soft to the stiff side. A few hours of working the harder ones whilst watching TV softens them right up and none of mine are padded even for use with solid body LP's.
The 2 1/2" width is comfortable enough, any thinner than that will wear me down.
