You can try a passive pickup, like the Fishman Neo ones, cheap, easy to use and nice sounding solution.
Sometimes it's just humidity that causes guitars to buzz, and it goes away after a few days. Also, don't change all the strings at once on a piezo equipped acoustic, cause if the saddle bone moves even a bit you'll have problems.
The ultimate value for money acoustic amp is the Bugera AC-60, an Aer clone sold by Thomann. Gig tested, sounds great, and costs 250. The Aer is the best sounding amp I've heard especially for classical but it is expensive. I gig with both of them.
