Hey, sorry if the video was lacking--as I mentioned, it was very hasty, and I was struggling to get equivalent sounds from each, but I hope it helped folks get an idea. Just press pause where I show the settings. I recently acquired a very reasonably priced 2006 Henriksen Jazzamp 10" in nice condition (with reverb, no fan), and have been doing some A/B comparisons to get a sound I like. If I make another video, slightly more controlled, would people prefer to have everything set at 12 o clock? But I think the Henriksen knobs are flat at zero?

I tried a Henriksen Bud a while back and hated it. I couldn’t cancel the bass frequencies as much as a Fender Twin could. This could because the EQ on Henriksen amps are active. I got better results with the Superblock UK with the Toob 6.5 GP+ in getting a nice tight sound. For those who like a sound with more bass there’s plenty on tap with the UK. As usual with almost all amps, I turned the bass down to zero and got a sound I really liked. The Toob cabinet is extremely lightweight and sturdy. I had to store it in a duffel back with a pillow back inside when I had a car and was driving to gigs otherwise the cabinet would slide when making a stop. I’ve dropped the cabinet about 5 or 6 times onto hard surfaces by accident because it’s so light and it’d taken the abuse well. If I get a 300€ promo with my bank, I might get another GP 6.5+ so I have one in both the US and where I live in Spain.

I carry my Metro in an inexpensive insulated “lunch bag”. There are many kinds and sizes available on the internet - mine came from Amazon. These bags are light as a feather, but the insulated layer is decent padding. So a Toob is almost indestructible in one of these. The handles are easy to grip, and mine even has a shoulder strap. Check it out -

Drum and lighting cases are excellent gig bags for many musical instruments. I have a few Djembe bags from speaker cabs, and I use lighting bags for my RevSound RS8 . The advantage of the lunch bags and lighting bags over the drum bags is the accessory pockets in which I carry power supplies, cables, and Toob legs.
