Joe I working up the arrangement on my Heritage Johnny Smith. It is not blasphemy to do this on the Heritage guitar I don’t think. However, the precise and artistic flourishes you do are probably beyond me. I will let you know how it goes. The 6th string to D is critical to get the bottom. I know my limitations like Clint E said.

Joe would sound good on Teisco guitar, but it sounds even better on a carved top. Of all the guitars to own I think that Heritage Johnny Smith one off 18 inch would be the one. That would a guitar I would order if I could. It has 25-inch scale and 18-inch body. My guess is acoustically it has a much bigger presence than a typical JS of any era. I wonder if Heritage would build one now leaving off the JS name?

I don’t feel so bad about hijacking my own thread..
I’ve taken these over the past couple of months..
1. ARP274. This galaxy combo is 300 million light years away. That means, what you are seeing in that picture took, 300million years to get to my camera. Mind boggling..
2. Heart Nebula. A nebula in our own galaxy that is shaped like a heart.
3. M31 or the Andromeda Galaxy. No words can describe (or, are needed) to explain the beauty of this.
4. The Bubble Nebula. A nebula in our own galaxy that is shaped like a, well, bubble.
I hope I don’t get in trouble for this.

Whoa...... OMG Joe these are incredible! I gotta get on this forum more often. I never know what gems I'll find here holy cow! It took a heart nebula to get my attention away from the guitar haha
