When I last purchased La Bella 413P - Studio strings, they came with cube shaped white beads numbered 1 through 6 in the package. I did not use them as the 6 string guitar had a 12 holes in the bridge for string tying.

The angle of the string from the saddle to the bridge is improved and more consistent when compared to the typical one hole per string classical tie method.

And, you don't have to mess around with tying the string into the bridge. Just tie it into the bead then string it through.

Tying the strings into the bead is just as tricky as the normal tie but the sound is def. improved > the break-angle over the bridge saddle is a bit steeper and that makes an audible difference. On a 12-hole bridge this is accomplished through the second hole which is much lower down in the slot below the saddle.
