Nothing prettier then a quilt back.

Is there information anywhere on how the ordering process works? And the wait time? I read 4 years on here, but not sure if that’s accurate.
-
Call Mark Campellone. He requires a $500 deposit once he starts building your guitar.

Vinny got pics of my guitar before I got them!
I was often waiting for Vinny to get me my updates! lol Thank God for Vinny!

That's just crazy, that's off the hook...

I'm not officially logging new orders till I can get my backlog reduced, but I do have a "B" wait list (as one fellow cleverly put it, a "wait list to get on the wait list") on which I save contact info for when I resume taking orders -

Mark - aren't you glad you joined this wonderful forum. Your guitars are really getting the love and admiration they deserve. Congrats on your continued success.

Thanks, Steve - yeah, really glad I joined the forum - I enjoy talking guitars with the other members - very gratifying to see all the positive feedback as well, since I have very little 'in person' contact with other guitar buffs (or anyone, period, for that matter - lol) - and yes, it has certainly stimulated business (what's that saying?...."be careful what you wish for?").....; )

It's Thursday morning--another hot muggy day made 100% bearable after an hour or so of playing my Campellone.
I received the guitar just in time--before the COVID lockdown. I'm 75 years old and have been playing the guitar since 1960. In 1963 I got my first "good" guitar, a Kalamazoo built Epiphone Casino (same as the Gibson 330), since then, I've owned a lot of guitars. I'm down to 7:
Epiphone Casino, (ES-230TD);
Gibson ES-345TDC SV;
Gibson L5;
Gibson ES-175D;
Gretsch Chet Atkins;
Gretsch Tennessee Rose, and;
Campellone Archtop.
The two instruments that I play the most are the Campellone and the 175. Why?, because both are comfortable to play and produce the "chord melody" sound I'm looking for. My "public playing" these days comprises the pit band of a theater group and the occasional neighborhood coffee shop.
One more thing. I've taken to leaving a note in the case compartment of each guitar with info on the instrument's history and estimated value. Hopefully, they won't be sold at a "garage sale" for a few bucks.

How strange. I started with my 175 this morning and but then treated myself to the Campellone!

Vinny, “Bluesome Twosome” is wondering what finish it’s brother/sister Cameo is going to get?

I am more so a flame guy but this is so spectacular it may have changed my mind

I am kind of a sunburst guy but do love the look of a very old blonde.
This is the ice tea burst he did for me. Really pretty.

Bro,
Line up all your guitars and picture a color that will stand out amongst them.
If I was was getting a Cameo, I’d have to get it in natural. I think natural is the most distinguished of all colors. It screams top of the line. It will change color in the years ahead and in due time, it will become the nice amber you like. So, it’s like getting a couple of cameos in your lifetime!
Also, natural always looks clean. Very easy to maintain. And get a case with white fur..
I am so happy for you guys. MauiBob - you deserve a real beauty my man. Top of the line guitar for a top of the line dude. You added mojo to the GJS and I will appreciate that for the rest of my days.

You would get a shock if you saw “BT” in it’s case!
But I thought it was ideal.
-
Well here it is. The case does distort the colour of the guitar somewhat but then always a joy to take it out!
-
So now I’m confused and even more excited. Are we getting two Cameos in this batch?
-
MauiBob this batch and me the next batch.
