Searching the Stringjoy website, I couldn't find evidence that they currently offer flat wound strings.

I have a set of broadways on one of my guitars. They sound more like a nickel plated string rather than pure nickel to my ears. (a bit brighter a little more edge) not a bad sound. Worth a try for sure. Close to the thomastik roundwound sound I would say minus the longevity and the price lol.

I’ve only tried some of their electric string sets. One was on an L-5 Wes and the other on a baritone scale partscaster. My experience with both sets is that they didn’t have as much definition as a like to hear. They seemed a bit muffled compared to my preferred strings sets.
