Heritage Eagle Standard on Musicians Friend

I apologize if this has been asked (I searched and found nothing), but before I bother Heritage with an email, can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the Heritage Standard in the Musicians Friend site? The same model, only the Black translucent model is $800 less. I compared and could not see a difference other than finish. That’s quite a different price…

It doesn’t appear to be any difference to me. But it makes sense that the black guitar would be $800 lower.

These are from the new Heritage company. I saw a former Heritage Classic, with every bell and whistle, built by the old guys sell for $3200 obo on Reverb last year. It was absolutely mint. It sat for a week. I’d be inclined to keep my eyes peeled. A black guitar isn’t for the faint of heart.

The question might be moot -- Heritage doesn't show black as an option on their website. Their site also says that the model (both natural and SB) is unavailable, and all the sellers show it as back-ordered. I suspect that if you try to order a black one it won't work.
