Bye Bye Blackbird, performed on a '63 Gibson Barney Kessel through a Helix Stomp. A little Edge on the helix this time to sound like an old bassman amp.
This is spinal surgery recovery day 18.
Pain levels low today. No pain killers, no tylenol, advil or aleve. Although I did take a flexeril last night because of neck spasms. A little left shoulder pain - I think from the fact that they had to cut the neck muscles away from the bone. (I know, TMI...)

Nice to see somebody having some fun around here :-)

Nice playing Jack, a touch too much delay for my ears, but maybe that's the effect you're after.

i agree with you about the delay.

I really enjoyed this. I went from toe-tapping and grinning to stomping both feet and laughing out loud. Man it's great to see you in such a splendid recovery mode. You keep playing like that, your spine will likely heal just fine.
I think something healed in me just enjoying this clip!
