OK, this one doesn't have all the tape delay.

Documenting my spinal surgery progress, this is day 16. Evening. Recorded to demonstrate what the guitar sounds like without the tape delay even though I love the tape!
Dedicated to all the friends and supporters out there who have stuck with me through thick and thin.
Performed with a 1963, age appropriate Gibson Barney Kessel, through a helix stomp, using the grammatico clean channel and grammatico EV12L open back cab.

Great playing as usual and love the new guitar. Sounds GREAT !

You look like you're feeling much better, Jack- not just the guitar playing but overall you look looser, more relaxed, more fluid. Your right hand looks stronger, too.

Thanks, I am and I'm not. The first day home, I tried to play (surgeon said it would be ok) and I couldn't even make it a 1/2 hour. So starting on about day 4 I was able to play, mostly without pain. At least no nerve pain. But they cut the neck muscles away from the bone and those will probably take 6 weeks to heal. So out of the last 14 days, I've had 2 really horrible days and one semi-bad day. Today is a semi bad day. I'll probably need a muscle relaxer. But the pain is mostly manageable with aleve and tylenol now...2 Days ago, I had to take oxy again...
