Are they assuming liability if you damage your tendons? Are there any instructions about usage? A LOT of guitarists damage their hands well enough without paying someone for a device to guarantee that.
How about the Franz Lizst box cutter extension kit?

Crazy and nuts a complete waste off money. The late monster great Howard Roberts said that nothing better than picking up the guitar and playing instead of one of those squeezy things designed to build strength.

I all seriousness, it is not too difficult to safely stretch your fingers by using both hands.

The "tool" of necessity is called PRACTICE. Good in itself, but, the key here is to engage the brain in that muscle memory (and melody making).

If you want to damage your hands, playing some Allan Holdsworth stretch chords is a good inexpensive option.
