Anyone ever bought anything from "Temu?" The prices are great. Or is it all junk?

Oooh. So many times I could have used a visual aid.

That'll come in handy! You could play the tiniest violin in the world when people complain about their purchases.

Never heard of that site, but from a quick peek it looks like you get what you pay for. And you're not paying for much.

It’s the Chinese version of Amazon and the reviews are not good.

There are numerous documented security issues with its app and another related one. Extrapolate privacy and security risk for any interactions from there. Not to be alarmist but definitely a caveat emptor situation.

I've used the webpage to purchase electronic components such as spool wire, caps (electrolytic and ceramic), resistors, pots, LEDs, diodes, etc. and the quality of the components seem to meter out the same as parts kits from other suppliers I have used (I think because all this stuff is made in China anyway.) Their prices on double-sided PC boards is really good but you need to be sure the sizes meet your needs. I also got 10 DigiSpark ATTiny85s for $.79 each as opposed to $10 each on Amazon and they program up fine with the Arduino loader on my PC. I get components for less than half of the cost of other distributors and I get free shipping. It takes about two weeks to get the order, but I'm rarely out of stock as I'm just a hobbiest so it doesn't really matter to me. I also got a $5 Rollie knockoff for laughs and it's a real piece of junk, but it's still keeping accurate time after 6 months, a lot better than the $40 Times Square rollie knockoff I purchased 20 years ago that only ran for 3 days!
