I received the Byrdland but Gibson shipped it in a Tal Farlow case (too big) so the guitar flopped around in the case and the pickguard mount broke off. A couple more days till full evaluation. Had to take it to Gryphon to fix the pickguard. It does look nice.

Wow Vinny, that's an AMAZING collection!!!

Damn!

Yes I am a diehard Gibson guy with a side of Campellone’s

I love guitars that you can pick out from a lineup. Pretty great deal.
Imagine them shipping it in a Tal box. Haha. Almost an element of "don't push it".

So how many Archtops does it take to play My Funny Valentine? Lol!
Very nice collection Vinny

Byrdlands are great for us older gents. 13’s feel like 10’s.

What's the nut width on a new birdland ?
Thanks

Good thing this Byrdland came along. Was kind of concerned you had too few guitars.

Hi I am Vinny and I am a guitaraholic. Hi Vinny

Beautiful guitar! If you thought you were fleet-fingered before........

Check yourself before you wreck yourself Vinny! It seems you've taken the first step: admitting that you are powerless to resist guitars.
People, places and things. You really shouldn't be hanging here if you want to get healthy :-)

Droolificating collection Vinny ! Enjoy ! Do I see three Tal Farlows or does one of them have two photos ?

@vinnyv1k...Congrats on acquiring an awesome Gibson Byrdland! I'm sure in your hands it will sound wonderful.
I've been a fan of Byrdlands ever since seeing top session guitarist David T. Walker sling one back in the day. His had a florentine cutaway, but still a beauty to behold and to hear. Those are very versatile archtops.
May it inspire you for many years to come.
