I'm enjoying the sounds of a fresh set of Pyramid Classic Nickel strings (.012 rounds) after about 6 hours of playing "break-in" time on this set, when they're just about perfect to the touch. You know, at times like these there's really nothing else that matters. I know that's shallow of me given the boatload of troubles in the world. Sorry (not sorry).

Pyramid Golds have become my favorite after years of using TI Swings. Subtle difference but they feel better to me. Mostly, like you say, they feel broken-in nearly right off the bat.
Nice playing, btw. I always enjoy your playing posts.

What great playing Mark, it is always a pleasure to hear your playing!

I have mixed experiences with Pyramid strings. Their black nylon tape strings sound very nice but were very tricky with intonation (easily way too sharp) and ultimately felt too taut, curiously. I've had other strings from them that intonate flat.

I have found the round core of these strings impacts intonation and requires some significant saddle adjustment. For the guitar in my video this meant having custom saddles made for it to this specific set gauge of strings.

I have Earvana compensated nuts or Hosco nut spacers on almost all of my guitars. And all of their saddles are compensated to some degree. I don't struggle with intonation very much. Not perfect but decent.

Interesting about round core and intonation. I switched from thomastik jazz 12 to a round core set with wound g, also 12s. Intonation was useless and I ended up switching to a tuneomatic bridge. Sounds great though.
