TI JS112 Jazz Swing Flatwounds and G String

These are a nice set of strings, but I'm noticing how scratchy the G string is, maybe more so on one archtop compared to the same set on another. How do you match a flatwound G with the JS112's that doesn't have the same sandpaper quality? Thank you for any perspective.

I think it's just a bad (new) string. I need to compare it with another set.

I would suggest that, give them a chance!
