Fender Montego 1

Our friend ArchtopHeaven recently drew our attention to the guitar auction held in UK by Gardiner Houlgate .
I have been following these auctions since the good old pre-Brexit days.
Apart from the usual Gibson Fender Ibanez etc., they constantly feature some interesting European instruments, mostly German and British .

But this time there is a rather unusual half German Fender : a Montego 1 .

I have never tried a LTD or a Montego, nor seen any famous guitarist playing one.

Have you any experience whith these guitars ?

It's odd that the auction company photos don't show the headstock in detail. It's cutoff in all the enlarged photos. They don't know guitar collectors!
