“The company has voiced the amp specifically for semi-hollow and fully hollowbody guitar players, citing the amp’s simplicity as the “perfect companion” to f-hole’d electrics and small to medium club gigs.”

Vox debuts the Clubman 60, a Nutube-powered guitar amp aimed specifically at hollowbody guitar players | Guitar World

I'm going to reserve judgement until I can try one but I think this looks great: lightweight, small, lots of clean headroom, reasonably priced (assuming it's good) and an intentionally 3-D sound. That's a perfect combination of features for me.

looks very good to me too
it has a nice reverb on it
(on the demo video at least)

the weight / size is good too
the only downside for me is the
    separate psu (18v in)

but i think I can live with that
if it can hang with a medium loud drummer

Very pleased to see Big Name amp manufacturers deciding there’s a market for hollow bodies.

Is the Cab made from ABS plastic

    Or some kinda fiberboard ?

    Gotta love marketers.

”NuTube” sure doesn’t glow in the dark:

Least it won’t smell warm after a few hours.

Thanks for posting. It reminds me of the old ZT Lunchbox amps.

If this can do what my Lunchbox does with a better EQ and reverb, I'll be getting one.

Pingu, why do you ask? You've been using my cabs made of PP plastic. And look at PA cabs: all plastic. Especially in this format, it's the architecture, not the material that matters. BTW, looking at the specs of the newcomer, it could just as well be aimed at the acoustic guitar market. But it's kinda crowded out there.

Not with that usual soft warm glow in any case

Parallel plastic panels (A cube for example- just like that Vox) would need some good molding ribs designed in to stop the panels acting like drum skins.
I think the Toobs have a big advantage in this respect. A Very rigid cabinet design.

I'm glad they got such a fine 'jazz' player to do the demo...

There's actually a whole range of Vox amp using exactly the same "box" (just different colors - and hopefully, differently voiced preamps) - and one of them is indeed an acoustic guitar amp; there's also a bass amp, a keyboard amp, and a ukulele (!!!) amp in the exact same format.

I hope the demo doesn't make justice to this amp
As I hear it, it reminds me of my old VOX Valvetronix AD15VT with the cheap Reverb/Chorus effects
On the other hand, specs as detailed are promising
Something to be checked first hand
