I also have a Traditional. Mine is a 2012. Granted, it's not a Custom Shop or Historic, but it more than scratches my Les Paul itch and it plays and sounds great too. Mine is a Honeyburst as well.

Wow, that top is as good as it gets in my opinion.

What I did with mine is to replace the chrome hardware and pickup covers with nickel. What had happened is when restoring my ES335, I wanted it to look new and shiny again, so I replaced all the hardware and pickup covers on the ES335 with brand new nickel and put the old tarnished stuff in a box.
Glad I saved the old tarnished hardware and didn't throw it away, it looked good on the Les Paul! The old tune-o-matic from the ES335 fit on the existing posts with just a little enlargement of the holes.

I am in the minority of guitarists who prefers Chrome to Nickel (I am a Harley Guy and we do like our Chrome ). I also prefer the Nashville TOM to the ABR-1 as it has a bigger adjustment factor to dial in the intonation of a plain G (and also has fewer rattles). But I get that Nickel hardware and an ABR-1 gets you to
"historic correct" specs and the nickel will age. Chrome will look new forever (unless it is subject to too much moisture and pits).

Thanks. I really love the top as well. I've had a lot of folks compliment it. As a bonus, it plays well too!!!

Yeah, I've thought about putting some different hardware on it, but I decided to leave it as is. I don't mind new and shiny. I did replace the speed knobs to the witch hat knobs. I also just put a plain truss rod cover on it. Other than that it's all stock.
