Man that thing is a cadillac! Even got a cig holder cut in the headstock!

My only complaint is someone forgot to gold plate the hardware. Not sure how that made it past quality control but as long as it sounds good cosmetics don't really matter anyhow.

Congratulations on your purchase and play it often.

That’s a great guitar . I actually have a short video clip of Bryant playing the guitar along side his D’Angelico style A. The video was made before the final set up on the Broadway, but you can hear the warmth and sustain quite nicely. If the OP wishes - I’ll try to upload.

Wow! It's the recurve that makes all the difference.

Thank you for the clip! Original D’angelico is an amazing guitar. What a tone and volume… I think Broadway shows its power and tone enough considering it has not been broken yet, and its size and cutaway shape. It is starting off in a good direction, once it has been broken in, it will mellow out and really come into its own.

And I like seeing the spruce grain in the f-holes.

Beautiful! And I like the unbound F holes; for years, I have had the (probably unfounded) belief that putting binding in the F holes probably stiffens the response of the top acoustically. Even if correct, that may or may not be a bad thing. I suppose a skilled luthier compensates for any effect that might have as they tune the top.

Congratulations on acquiring such a lovely instrument and I hope you have years of fun playing it.
