Ibanez GB-100 MIJ

I wasn’t sure if I posted a thread on my GB-100. I’m quite sure I have but searching on the forum didn’t bring anything up (as far as I could tell) and if I had, it would have only been a couple of iPhone shots on the NGD.

Here are some studio pics of an Iby. I’ll try and get round to making a sound recording as soon as the new studio is set up over Christmas.

wow, is that thicker than the GB10? Does it have any of the 175 thunk vibe to it or does it still sound pretty much like a gb10?

Jack change the neck pickup on the GB family and it will thunk. It’s just not in the Ibanez pickup as designed. Any number of better neck HBs out there. I had Lindy Fralin do a ‘Modern PAF in a neck floater’ for my GB10 and it is everything you could ask for.

i hate the ceramic dimarzio neck pickup they use now. Apparently george does too...
