    Hey all,

What strings and gauge do you recommend for this guitar? The manufacturer uses 13-52 but I can’t find these anywhere!

    Thank

If you are new to guitar and have an instructor, maybe ask them for a recommendation. 13 might be a little stiff, if just starting out on guitar.

The specs on Ibanez site say that the AS2000 comes with a .013/.016/.022/.032/.042/.052, but I bet this is a typo since the specs for the other Ibanez semi-hollows say .010/.013/.017/.030/.042/.052. Regardless, I wouldn't worry about using the same string gauges that came with the guitar. Use the gauges you prefer.

EDIT: the JSM100 has that 13-52 set in the specs as well, so perhaps not a typo (or perhaps two typos), but one still shouldn't feel compelled to use that gauge.

    Both AS2000 and JSM100 came stock with .013/.016/.022/.032/.042/.052 it's not a typo.

I really like Thomastik BB113 in my AS200.
