Appears to be using the neck pickup. As a purveyor of good overdriven tones from jazz guitars, I can't say I have been able to get such nice overdrive from the neck pickup without it sounding muddy.
In another video he claims to be using 0.14" to 0.68" strings. Maybe that is part of it.

A Kemper seems like an odd choice for him. He pretty much uses one sound, he doesn't need a complicated setup.

Maybe it's someone elses, maybe it's his?

What ever the internet claims he used for gear (xotic pedals), that clip is recent, so he could indeed be using anything; even Kemper.

Norman Brown sounds huge in his live performances. I've seen him a couple of times and he has a great sound crew. Whether he's using a Kemper or his favorite Fender amp set up, he sounds great. The video appears to be from and audience attendee's cell phone, so sound isn't too great.

    Also, I think he's playing a GB10, not a 2455.

When I hear "tasteful overdriven sounds" in the jazz and archtop context, Phil Upchurch always comes to mind. Especially early on in his career, he loved to turn it up. Not just jazz. Lots of heavy soul, as here. Not sure what he's playing. L5?
