After a thorough diy setup including new TI Swings ( 11s ) and profiling and polishing frets and resolving all sharp ends ( many ) and now with an action at the 12th fret of 3/64", here she is ( very pleased ). Super '58 Customs sound great to my ear (my AFJ95 has a Seth Lover in the neck and Tele has a Dimarzio 36th Anniversary by way of comparison)................................

Great looking guitar. "Purple words on a grey background" as Mr. Neil Young used to say.

    Best to you.

AS95 in translucent cherry red. To me it feels and sounds better ( great 'substantial' neck ) than the JSM10 I once tried.

Pickups. Depends what you define as a jazz sound of course and in any case is relative to body type and other factors, but for me it is the 36th Anniversary by dimarzio in my Tele - took Jim Soloway's advice and never regretted it!
