I'm based in the UK, have owned several archtops, Gibson L5, Gibson Country Gent, various Gretches, 1937 Recording King M4, Daniel Slaman DS350 thin, Peerless Maestro, etc., and also a Gibson ES-275.
The 15"w x 1.75"deep ES-275 was the most comfortable size for me (back and neck issues,) and though the neck was good, it was too narrow for my large arthritic hands.
Can anyone recommend a UK based builder who could build me a similar spec guitar?
Hollow or semi-hollow, 15" wide, 1.75" deep at the rims, laminated moulded/pressed top and back, 24.75" scale, 1 3/4" (45mm) nut,
I have a set of SD staple P90s to go on it.
I know this won't be cheap, but I don't wish to spend Trenier/Vanden/Slaman type prices if possible.
Thanks

Fibonacci Guitars would be the people to talk to. They can do laminates and custom specs beyond their models on the website. A couple of friends have just received very nice guitars with custom specs and in one case, custom f-hole and cutaway designs.

I believe he's built for Martin Taylor

My friend Nigel Price has a signature model with them, the 'Londoner'.

Wow, those are beautiful.

Excellent choice. Graham Esson is rock solid and a nice guy to boot. I consulted with him on the Californian and Diablo ( named by my wife!). I would not hesitate. You may have to wait a short while however - demand is high.

Do you’ve tried something different? A Telecaster or a Tele Thinline with a fat soft V-Neck, rounded shoulders (oiled!)? Those necks are like heaven for big hands! Just an idea.
