L5 Double-Cut - I don't get why?

Apparently Billy Byrd had a double cut Byrdland in the 1950’s.so I’m sure that someone got the idea “How about an L-5CES ?” Those marketing guys need to keep their jobs, Lol!

Hey Pingu its 2 3/8" but otherwise same dims as a standard L5. Makes its comfortable to play and makes standing way easier.

The double cut makes sense on this guitar, the heel is at 18th as opposed to the L5's 14th.
