Ibanez Super 58 versus Silent 58 Humbuckers?

Hi all. Just curious if anyone knows the difference between these two models. I could not find any info on the Ibanez Fandom wiki page.

I believe the ‘silent’ ones are wax potted
I havn’t had this verified

Can verify that the Silent 58 that came on my PM200 is in fact wax potted.
Replaced after trying alternatives with a Fralin Modern PAF. More alive, deeper sound, nice touch sensitivity. YMMV of course.

Interesting. I just got a PM120 with the Silent 58s and can confirm the pickups are potted.

So, the Super 58s are NOT potted?

Hi… my experience is with the MIJ AF200, PM200, and LGB300. The Super 58’s in the SF and LGB are not potted (no wax). The Silent 58 from the PM is.
I have an Indonesian build AF95FM with ‘Super 58s’ not potted but they are clearly a different built pup than the MIJs.
