I've seen an ad for a 'hollow body electric jazz Epiphone copy'. It looks budget, similar body shape to a EEJP (but gretsch style tp and no scroll at end of fb) and has Epiphone with the Gibson font on an open book headstock. Wondering if the seller means a copy of an Epi or an Epi copy of something else.
Any one have any ideas?
Cheers

Epiphone made great copies of Broadways, Casinos, Byrdlands.
I have seen copies of Byrdland’s made at Terada that had gibson headstocks but these were for the Japan market only.

Cheap Chinese guitar with home-shaped headstock and Epiphone sticker. Not an Epiphone.

Bull's titties.
That said, at least the seller didn't attempt to ask for £2200...

It's so kind of those Chinese factories to make it so easy to spot a fake. It looks heavy just from the photo. I love those F holes. I'd be tempted to get this just so I could hang it on a hook outside and use it as a classy birdhouse. Hey, Birdland! What's not to love?
I'll bet those F holes make it SOOO easy to install the electronics into this guitar. Full harness in one pop. Brilliant!

This is a Stagg a300...super low cost brand from latin america. I think the person carved a gibson-like headstock...
