I've never seen the model guitar that Joscho Stephan is playing in this video. Fantastic looking and sounding. Of course, Joscho always sounds great.
Anyone know any information about this guitar?

I've sent Joscho a query. Probably too busy to reply.

Weird... the body, tailpiece and pickguard look like Benedetto but the headstock does not... maybe a custom order or a prototype?
-
The guitar may be from a luthier using Benedetto's book as their guide.

I do like the open headstock. My favorite acoustics often have an open headstock like that.
-
D on the headstock; Maurice Dupont, perhaps? Although the few pictures I've seen of Dupont guitars they look quite different, so maybe that's not very helpful.
-
Definitely not a Dupont, but it also doesn't look like the Volker logo on the headstock either. Curious what he comes back with!

That guitar doesn't look much like a Benedetto to me. The cutaway, f holes, tailpiece, top carve, all are different from all I've seen.

Here's Joscho's reply, in fact a confirmation of our emerging consensus:
"Hi Markku, thanks for your kind words. So the guitar that I use on that video is a Henning Doderer Honey Bee Archtop: Galerie | henning-doderer
Best Wishes
Joscho"

BTW, the starting price for this model, according to Henning Doderer's website, is 3,100€!
