I already lost the trem bar for my new Bass VI, probably because I never used it. I can't seem to find one out the without buying the whole bridge. It's the same bridge as the Jaguar/Jazzmaster. But there are a lot of Strat bars out there. Actually it's a Squire, but I think the bridge is the same as on the Fender version(?)

I'm thinking you just need what they call a "drop in" bar (as opposed to screw in, like a strat) --that should work for JM, Jag, Bass Vi, etc...the only trick is, I think the ones for the American models are a different diameter than the ones made overseas--can't remember which is which.

I don't think all Fender trem bars are interchangeable. Some Fenders are pop-in, some are screw-in, and the screw-in ones are not all the same threads (e.g., some are metric and some are imperial) . But I don't know the specifics of which ones fit which instruments. Did you try contacting Fender support to ask them what will fit? Stew-mac or Allparts might know, also.

I bought a bar for my Aria and then another and then a third. I think the third fits, a screw in 6mm which my micrometer measured as a good 5. With all the differences between strats, you may not have the original bridge to top it off.

Well I tried my PRS arm in the Bass VI, it's too thin and loose. Back to the drawing board.
