The Loar LH-309 Archtop Hollowbody Vintage Sunburst. Brand | Reverb

$750 is a good price for this guitar. I had the chance to play one recently, and it was very comfortable to play, sounded good and seemed well made. Not that I need any more guitars, but nice to know there's that option.

hmm I thought these were somewhere in 500-1500 range?

That's a 300 series...I thought they were around the 5-600 dollar mark.

I played one a few years back, I thought it was terrible, but perhaps they've gotten the QC on their lower models up to par with their higher models, which are quite nice.

I picked my lh600 up for 350gbp about a decade ago…
it’s a funny one… no one knows how much Loars are actually worth. They are the bitcoin of the guitar world.

That said I’d expect to pay about £500-600 for a lh309 these days

Yep, beware sellers who falsely post a ridiculous price and then do a too-good-to-be-true discount to a price that's still too high...

Scruples seem to be a thing of the past.
