This is one of 50 guitars, all one offs, Ibanez has created for the US market to thank them for their support in what is their 50th year selling guitars in the US. You can't just buy these, there's a whole process

But anyway, this is the JCPS (Japan Custom Shop) 8 - It's called "Totally Jazzed" and list price is just $23,999.99!

Hmm. That's the price zone of top- notch luthier builds. No doubt Ibanez has access to Japan's best makers and woods, but as a brand it's Toyota, not Lexus.

Well, ironically, Toyota and Lexus are the same company, just using different names and bits to justify their respective prices. And these are LA Custom Shop and Japan Custom Shop guitars, which have never been offered to the general public before - just endorsers. These aren't farmed out to Fuji-Gen or Sugi, these are actually built by Ibanez in their endorser custom shops. And each one is a one off. They're still expensive, but these are not your 'go down to the shop and try one' guitars. Just putting a down payment on one doesn't even guarantee you'll actually get to buy one of them. But anyway, this is just an FYI, not a sales pitch

Seems like collectors territory, being a one-off and in that price range. Too bad. If they could make an archtop like this for around 3k then I’d go out and try it.
