Incoming Ibanez JP20

Just pulled the trigger on my 3rd Ibanez JP-20. This one is in 'like new' condition.

Been looking for one of these for about 6 months now. They don't usually come up in the UK so this one presented a good opportunity. Paid a little more than I would have liked to but I need one for several reasons.

Doesn't have the original case and it has the strap button on the neck heel (arggghh) but other than that, no red flags yet.
Never had an issue with these but there's always one.

Going to pick it up on Sunday.

Your 3rd? What'd you do with the other two? Great guitars! I only needed 1 but it's a prize. Put a PAF in mine and it runs with the best.

Hard to tell because I'm not in the US but I would say the condition of this one is not great. $1500 doesn't seem unreasonable but I would put in an offer of $1300 and see what happens.
The guy has clearly built up an attachment to this model, what with all the bumph.

They are imo fantastic guitars. One of my favourite. The 25'5 scale on that size body is fantastic.

I think these Ibby Semis and Hollows from Japan are special. They have a niche market, it seems. The seller is making a pitch to motivate buyers into what he has. I don't think it works on Craigs since the majority leans towards solid bodies and less expensive Semis. I could be wrong. Here, is a different story. When you leave here your faced with what's actually going on in the "Street".
I'm not looking to buy but have noticed info about the placement of the neck PU on the JP 20. that it isn't close enough to the neck heel and effects tone/sound. do you have an opinion on this view? Congrats on your new purchase. Maco
