The guitar is so sweet sounding. It sounds great with overdrive too. I use a j rockett ikon pedal with the gain almost off and it makes my amplified nation sound like an old gibson amp. That guitar sounds glorious through that setup though I realize by admitting that I might get thrown out of the group.

And it's weird how easy this guitar is to play in terms of geometry. My barrington is setup better with less relief and lower action but because of the way the 175 fits my body my right hand is so much better on this. Probably due to the fact that I grew up playing a '64 L5 which I bought for $650 back in the 1976. Too bad I didn't hold onto that one...

The barrington body is slimmer so it changes my pick angle from what I'm used to...Anyway, TMI, lol

I'll try this again. I'm having a hard time with the site allowing the photos. It's a beautiful instrument. Hate the strap button placement though!
