    EVO gold 47 x 104, taken down to about . 042. , to avoid speedbump effect.
    They just don't wear, and don't plink like SS frets.
    Shame that EVO now unobtainium...

    I agree. EVO Gold was my fret wire of choice due to it being both nickel and chromium free (I have major allergies to nickel and chromium [no stainless steel frets for me]), it's too bad it's become unavailable.
