This is basically two versions of the same passage. The music is the intro to Stardust. The first is played on a 2016 MIM Fender Mustang in standard tuning. The second is played on a Neville Telecaster-type guitar in D-Standard tuning.

Two very good sounds.

I'm with Kris. Both guitars sound great under your hands, Jim. Telecasters are very fine guitars, but never underestimate a Mustang.

I'll join the consensus view, Jim. Both to me sound lovely. As an aside, I also have a recent MIM Mustang with soap-bar P-90-type pickups, which I find to be clear and balanced. Is your mustang so-equipped?

It has two Mustang singles. I think the two versions were released at the same time.
