I've fallen in love with the look of the ES-295 because of Joel Paterson. Gorgeous guitar!

I have as well... Found an Epi 295 at a Guitar Center store for a reasonable price and brought it home. Did a few upgrades to get the Bigsby dialed in, but I can't put it down now. Was wondering how they compare to the early 90's Gibson re-issues that I see on Reverb now for appx 7K... Anyone ever a/b these models?

I know this thread is 18months dead but I have had one of these late 90s Peerless 295s for about a decade.
Forgot about it for awhile but recently pulled it out.
took the Bigsby off and put on a vintage zigzag-zag. Just ordered a Faber TOM and some new tuners.
swapping the tailpiece already made it nicer!
Wolfetone P90s and RS Gtrworks pots/caps.
it's giving killer Blue Note tones now!
