Hi All:
Thanks to Rich at ibanezrules.com I have added an Ibanez LGB300 to the corral. Arrived a couple weeks ago, and I’ve been unhealthy but gotta spread the news! It was the show guitar up to 2020 and it looks like it was never touched. No signs of pick guard wear, finish clean, just a tiny bump on the top of the headstock. I mentioned it cause you’ll see it in the pix and say. ‘Hey jk what gives))))
Simply the best guitar I’ve ever had or played. There’s no ‘gee sounds great but I wish it….’Nope a perfect sum of parts. It has that same sense of pushing you forward like my L5 does, it’s inspiring. BTW the neck is not the usual skinny Ibanez neck, just a bit beefier and love it. The Super58s sound warm with a nice bite too.
2Bops LGB200 is much prettier though! I admit it

Ooooh yes! I only wish they made a 7 string equivalent - my AF207 is nice, but this is in a different league. Enjoy it!

All you need now is a Quilter to complete the set: LGBTQ
Congrats on the LBG plus Tal.

Thanks Lobo, no not swapping the 58’s this time. Maybe it’s the spruce top vs maple on my other Ibanez guitars, but this one sounds/plays fine as is. Go figure!
Thank you Never and Jab.
Theres a Quilter 101 here on the shelf). But no rainbow refinish planned.

But that 90’s Tal though. Oh wow!

Thanks and I hope so! Hard to beat that TF for good looking!

Could there be an easier guitar to play than a good Ibanez? I doubt it!
I like Ibanez's fatter necks. They put them on the late 70's GB 20's.
Well done and enjoy!

Beautiful 'dynamic duo' of amazing archtops! Both the Tal and GB represent the best of the best from their respective builders.
Play them in good health.
