The gentleman in this video appears to be playing a "Westville Azure". I posted this video here, as I was impressed with guitar's the sound, and the gentleman's playing is great as well!!

    Beautiful playing and gorgeous tone.

Over the last number of months I've purchased a couple guitars from Masaki Nishimura, owner of Westville Guitars. He has been kind, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely professional. A true pleasure to work with.

Hi, I presume that you purchased you guitars directly from the Westville site?
    Which models?

Exquisite! His playing, sound, and touch put me in mind of Kenny Burrell.

Yoshiaki is one of the great jazz guitarists in Japan and also one of my personal favourites. I have met him a few times and have seen him playing in Tokyo. You will find several of Yoshiaki's CDs on Spotify. One can hear that he has been influenced by Kenny Burrell. In the past they have played together. He also has a website.

I keep noticing these wonderful jazz guitarists who all come from Japan. I'm thinking that's where the flame is being kept burning!

Then maybe also check out Hirofumi Asaba and Jun Satsuma on YouTube. They were both Yoshiaki's students.

Or May Inoue and Yosuke Onuma for more modern jazz guitar.

My situation was a bit different. These weren't Westville guitars, but guitars that Masaki was selling. As I said, he was wonderful to work with. I would buy from Masaki in the future without hesitation.
