What I do is to put the old string package in the case with each guitar.

I did this list from memory.
    I just like making lists!

Another suggestion (if you've not already done so) is to include the year and serial number of each instrument. That would be excellent for insurance purposes if any of your guitars were damaged by a covered peril (e.g. water or fire) or stolen. Insurance claims folks like to see whatever 'proof of ownership' you might have as well, so carefully file away any receipts and photos.

Doing that would satisfy your list loving tendency and maybe very helpful down the road.

With the date I changed the strings on it!

I do exactly the same thing, but I write the date on the package.

I guess you missed my post two up!

To OP, I'm surprised you use so many different kinds of picks. I use Blue Chips also, and alternate between BC Jazz Lg 35, 40 and 60, depending on string gauge.

I'm not too crazy about changing out to another pick, it throws me off what technique I have managed to accumulate!

I have one guitar and an infinite number of picks.

1993 Fender American Standard Tele (my #1 since I bought it in 94). GHS Boomers 10-52. Pick depends (see below)

2013 Fender MIM Thinline Cabronita GHS Boomers 10-52 Pick depends (see below)

2019 Fender MIM Standard Stratocaster GHS Boomers 10-48 Dunlop Ultex Sharp 2.0

2004 Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod GHS Boomers 11-50 Pick depends (see below)

1990 Charvel/Jackson 3DR (shredder from my hard rock days) GHS Boomers 10-48. Dunlop Ultex Sharp 2.0

Picks: 90% of the time I'm playing Dunlop Ultex Sharps 2.0. But when I want a "jazzier" tone (it's hard to describe- it's like I can hear the wood a little better, or something), I use a V-Picks Fusion (which is like a really heavy JazzIII. Jim Campilongo turned me onto them).

    For my acoustics:
Strings vary, I have several sets I like, but the one tried-and-true set that ALWAYS works, on ANY guitar, is DR Sunbeams, 12s. Others I like: Martin FX "Tommy's Choice", and I have some Elixir Phosphor bronze around as well that are great for taking on vacation at the shore, or in the heat of summer playing outside- the coating helps keep the strings clean.

    2018 Farida OT-22 (00) - basically a Gibson LG2 copy

    2008 Walden CG570CE (GA) - basically a Taylor 514CE copy

1991 Ovation 1769 Custom Legend Deep Bowl Cutaway

I do not currently own a jazz box, but when I did, my favorites were Thomastiks, 12s I believe... the "swing" set.

I'm a little afraid to do this...I might have more than I think.
