    It might be worth it to do some research on the instrument. A quality CG luthier could provide that information. The Wittner gears above are very high quality and would be an appropriate, functional replacement unless it happens to be a vintage instrument by a quality luthier. Great story about the reefer! If only guitars could talk.

    You might want to try listing that guitar on Reeferb, to see how much you'd get for it.

    Ahem.

    I have a short story in mind about finding some pot from my college days, smoking it, and being instantly transported back to the 70's/80's.

    I haven't decided if it will be a feel-good fantasy or a horror story.
