    It looks like an 80's or 90's model with the ebony bridge /inlaid brigde base and the scripted trussrod cover. These pics don't necessarily tell the truth though : with a crooked bridge like that the thing would be so much out of tune .... my guess is someone bumped it out of whack by accident and the photographer didn't know any better.
    Re the photo with George and Ringo : that could have been a recording/rehearsal date somewhere and he just grabbed one of the guitars that stood around. This Super looks like an 80's model with the Witch-Hat knobs and the set-screw in the pickguard but I wouldn't bet on it .....

    I love the fact that one of the most prolific Super Stars in the history of mankind thought enough to put something soft under the L5 to protect it during the photo shoot.
    My kinda guy!! I like him even more now.
