Recently purchased the medium guitarlift support. It works well with my Peerless and Ibanez Archtops and I like the adjustability of it. I still prefer the dynarette cushion copy (with elastic leg strap) on my classical guitars since some of them are french polished shellac that may have issues with the cups. The guitarlift is a little more complicated to attach/detach but it is probably the best support system I have ever used.

I have the same two devices you have and the GuitarLift gets used with my Ibanez Archtop and my Mustang but there's no way to use the guitar list with my other solid body without repositioning the suction cups so it gets use with the Chinee cushion with the leg strap. (BTW, I have had both sizes of the real Dynarette cushion for years and the Chinese version actually works better, both because of the strap and because of the softer cushion).

Check out the Neckup mentioned earlier; works great for "right leg solid body" playing!

I've never had any long term success with any of the suction cup based systems. My favorite has turned out to be a Dynarette knock off with an integrated leg strap strap. The strap makes a world of difference. Something like this:

So you're saying they live up to their name: they suck?

I just use a classical guitar footrest to raise my right leg. Works for me.

I’m a really tall guy and I use the Guitarlift with a medium plate all the time. Tried it once, was convinced immediately, got it, never looked back.
Why the medium plate? Got it second hand from a friend. IMHO the discussions on size are overrated.

I use gitano (very light, simple, holds well, compact, I actually never take it off my classical guitar, it fits the case even but it has a limited height) and I use ergoplay trofster (mostly for baroque lute.)
Trofster has a very good adjustable setup, I could even fit it to a non-convention lute bowl. But you have to take it off and put it on every time, and to me the cups could be better (with gitano I cannot tear it off sometimes, it holds very well).
I have not played and archtop for a long time but today if I had to I would probably use a support too.
I like it more than with a strap (which I used for years for lute) or a stool (which affects my back).
Even with light instruments I feel tension with a strap..
I think it is also a psychology a bit, when the instrument just sits very comfortably it gives more feel of connection and freedom then when it pulls down (and away) from me on the strap
