    I am inclined to think that Gibson does not give
    two flying ducks, about what we all like , they're
    only interested in mass production of the cheapest
    to produce , and fast selling solids & slimlines.
    Archtops are probably produced in a half hearted
    manner to appease players willing to pay 11k to 15K
    upfront and patiently wait two years for condescending
    Gibson to furnish them with a pale shadow of yesteryear.s
    I am ,by the way a Gibson owner my last new one was
    a Crimson Custom shop (RIP ) L5 purchased in 2015.
