    Look at all the attention this guitar is getting just on this forum. Perhaps, as a "pushing the envelope" marketing plan , this seller is on to something.

    True, lots of attention, but based the comments in this thread the only thing the seller has generated is well-deserved ridicule.
    That does not seem like a viable marketing strategy.

    Easy to live with the ridicule on this forum (or elsewhere for that matter) when all you wanted as the owner of the guitar is letting the world know of it's existence and availability.
    Point in case : Dr. John van Hoose is offering his Monteleone for $ 125.000 and I don't hear any jeering.....

    Fact is : these high-$ guitars were priced out of the reach of (pro) players a long time ago, when the baby boomers realized the investment potential of these items and started to buy
    them up the world over ....
