Hi All,
Thanks so much for all of your helpful responses to my 'Campellone Choice - New Standard or Used Special' thread. I had a chance to try out the Special last weekend and not surprisingly it was absolutely fantastic, so it came home with me.
The guitar is a 25.5" scale with a 1.75" nut which works for me and of course the build is flawless. Mark was gracious enough to check it out and let me know itwas his 250th guitar and is made from Western Big Leaf Flame Maple back and sides with a Sitka Spruce top. @MCampellone - thanks so much for the help! I will hopefully be hitting you up in the near future for a 16" build!
Thanks for all the help!
Wattie

Glad you brought it home. I figured you would. Great price too!

You have acquired an instrument that stands with the finest ever made. Congratulations, and play it in good health!

That’s the one I would have gone for as well. I love the upscale appointments on the Special.

The great thing about Marks guitars are you're getting one person building the entire proccess, from start to end. And your basically getting a great Gibson designed L-5C style archtop at the top of this design!
Congrats!
