Hey jazzers,
Here is a new video featuring my guitar named Milonga. She was designed and crafted by Daniël Slaman. I've came accross a great backing track YT channel - Eagleheart Jazz Channel - which decided me to use Milonga over the version of Body and Soul. I love this channel, their backings are so musical, not necessarily a lot of space for solos but great to work out your musicality.
It's there:
Hope you'll enjoy and take the opportunity to discover this channel.
Be safe and take care.

What a beautiful, in every sense, guitar, and what beautiful playing! That was really nice! Thank you!

Gorgeous everything ! Guitar, tone, playing, and of course socks.

Very tuneful and suitably soulful playing. KA PAF0 floater? My cup of tea.
And thanks for that backing track channel. Something a little different.

You got it!

I’ve said it time and time again, I love it when you turn it on. You don’t just come out blasting, you build it to the point where the swiftly played clusters of notes explode at the perfect time.
Outstanding.
the guitar is pretty nice too!
Beautiful. Thanks buddy.

Many thanks to all for your support and kind words. I'm glad if some of you have a look to Eagleheart YT channel. They deserve it.
@Max/JD: thanks buddy, you're such a brillant player in the style of Johnny Smith.
Stay safe and take care.

Fred playing with a backing track featuring a good piano player. He didn’t outshine you Fred!
Is it just me or are the fretboard markers made to resemble piano keys?
-
Okay it wasn’t just me. I was thinking he’s building the intensity beautifully. Remember how Dexter Gordon was known for doing that very thing especially playing ballads

This guitar was conceived by Daniel in dedication to Paolo Conte, a famous italian singer and piano player. he has a song entitled "alle prese con una verde milonga" which you could translate by "struggling with a green milonga". He is one of my very favorite singers and so it is for Daniël...This guitar is dedicated to his music.
