I haven’t seen this posted yet. Please forgive me if it has. There are many, many threads on Teles for jazz. What do you all think about this?

- Every Tele is a "jazz Tele"
- So many things are wrong about calling this guitar a Telecaster
- It costs more than the last car I bought
Other than that, it's fine.

If you want to get technical, sure, I could play jazz on this if I want. Call it the Dean Jazz Dime.

Personally, I wouldn’t mind seeing a factory run of that Tele. They wouldn’t really need to change much except probably drop the Brazilian rosewood parts in exchange for another wood.

This thread has me thinking that Telecaster fans might be a rough crowd. No wonder they have their own thread here. And as a Telecaster makes for a potentially lethal weapon, I would always be polite to the Telecaster guys myself....
