Has anyone played some jazz voicing and tunes on a jazz arch top, floating or set in pickups, and if so, what were your thoughts as to results? Comparisons to Polyytone, Fender, Henriksen, AER, Evans, etc. appreciated.

Yes. One interesting thing is that I think that there is a greater potential for feedback from the open back of the Quilter given the sound dispersion compared with a closed back Henriksen.
Meanwhile, think of the overall experience as akin to playing an archtop through a Fender Deluxe or Twin Reverb which is obviously different from a Polytone, AI, or Henriksen. Brighter. But the Cub has active EQ as well as the Tweed input that can get quite a variety of tones.
Also, the Cub can get loud, so no concerns about headroom. I’d say the Cub probably has at least as much if not more clean headroom than a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe.
