I started with the Shark Tooth. I corresponded with the maker and wound up getting several from him that had been modified the way certain players like them. (They picks were modified, not the strap.)
The Kodiak is much less wrap than the Shark Tooth.
I think the ST is better if you have trouble holding a pick. (I think that's why Ron Eschete started using them.) He's not doing any thumb picking, per se.
